Overview
AS and A2 Further Maths are available as additional subjects to enthusiastic AS and A2 Maths students. Further Maths qualifications are highly regarded and are strongly welcomed by universities. Students who take Further Maths demonstrate a strong commitment to their studies, as well as learning maths that is very useful for any maths-rich degree. The AS in Further Maths is accessible to any student prepared to put in extra work, including Saturday and half-term workshops provided by the Further Maths Support Network. A2 Further Maths is a challenging qualification, which both extends and deepens students’ knowledge and understanding beyond the standard A Level Maths. Students who do it often say it is their favourite subject.
