NVQ 1 in Hairdressing
This course is designed to give young people the skills needed to progress on to the Level 2 programme, or to assist in a salon context. You will be trained to: reduce risks to health and safety, contribute to the development of effective working relationships, shampoo and condition hair and prepare for hair services. You will also have the option to: assist with salon reception duties, blow dry hair, plait and twist hair using basic techniques, remove hair extensions and assist with shaving services.
