NVQ2 in Beauty Therapy
For those of you who wish to learn beauty therapy skills and enjoy meeting people, this course is ideal. It is a practical-based programme and you will also learn about the sciences related to the different aspects of beauty therapy, as well as customer service and health and safety. The course allows you to gain the necessary skills to develop your studies further or begin your career. You will be working with clients in a realistic salon environment and be expected to wear a uniform. You will also be required to attend a work placement. Subjects include: manicure and pedicure, facials, application of make-up, salon health and safety, reception skills, product knowledge / customer service and waxing.
