BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Business

This course is designed for Level 2 learners. Key areas include interpersonal skills and customer service. Learners have the opportunity to develop these and other essential business skills through a range of diverse activities including assignment and project work, case studies, role play and presentations.

The BTEC Level 2 Diploma gives learners the opportunity to:

• enter employment in the business sector or to progress to higher level vocational qualifications
• develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for working life

The four mandatory units are designed to provide an introduction to and understanding of Business Purposes, Business Organisations, Financial Forecasting for Business and People in Organisations.

In addition learners will complete further units in subjects as diverse as Personal Selling in Business, Business Ethics and Business Online.

The entry requirements :
• 4 GCSEs at grade D or above • BTEC Introductory Diploma at Merit or above
