Overview
This course provides a good mix of film, television and print for publishing. This involves camera work, editing, working with sound for moving image and for radio as well as Photoshop work and printing. You will get to learn about the industry, its structure and many of the key issues that media practitioners face. BSix has a dedicated film editing suite, now running Final Cut Pro and Adobe CS 5 Suite. You will be gaining valuable practical skills, getting relevant qualifications and preparing yourself for working in industry or progressing onto university. The Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production is a qualification that consists of seven mandatory units plus optional units that provide for a combined total of 180 credits.
