GCSE Biology
Do you need a GCSE Biology for your future career? If so, this one year, single award course may be for you. The course is largely
geared to students who have already covered the GCSE course and want to improve their grades. It is also suitable for overseas
students who want to progress onto A Levels, but have not achieved the required GCSE qualifications to enable them to do so. In GCSE Biology you will learn about the structure and function of living things. The interactions of living organisms will also be investigated, as well as man’s influence on this delicate balance, particularly in terms of environmental and genetic impact. You will investigate ‘how science works’, and be encouraged to form opinions on topical issues in the news such as gene technology, transplantation and biotechnology.
