GCSE Chemistry
Do you need a Chemistry GCSE for your future career? If so, this one year, single award course may be for you. The course is largely geared to students who have already covered the GCSE course and want to improve their grades. It is also suitable for overseas students who want to progress onto A Levels, but have not achieved the required GCSE qualifications to enable them to do so. In GCSE Chemistry you will study products from rocks, oils, the atmosphere, structure, bonding, rates of reaction, equilibrium, energy changes, the periodic table, electrolysis, acidity, calculations and analysis. In addition, you will study ‘how science works’ and how it relates to other Chemistry topics. Considerable emphasis is placed on gaining knowledge and understanding of the subject through performing practical work.
