GCSE English
For students who have previously achieved a grade D, or an equivalent level, this one year course offers the opportunity to improve reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, and achieve the grade C or better that is required for university entrance and most professions. You will receive four hours of tuition each week and will be required to do an average of two hours homework a week to complete your coursework in the autumn term. Unlike the GCSE English course offered at secondary school, which includes English Literature and counts as two separate GCSEs, this course only counts as one GCSE.
